Refund & Cancellation Policy
At HomEvo, we strive to provide a flexible and fair booking experience. Please review our policy regarding cancellations and refunds:
Cancellation Terms
- For an immediate type booking, you can cancel until a service partner has not been assigned and the booking status is `paid_awaiting_partner`. Once a partner is assigned, direct customer cancellation for immediate bookings is no longer possible.
- For a scheduled type booking, you have the flexibility to cancel the booking up to 1 hour before the scheduled date and time slot. Cancellations made within 1 hour of the scheduled time may be subject to review.
- Automatic Cancellation for Immediate Bookings: If an immediate booking remains in `paid_awaiting_partner` status for more than 3 hours without a service partner being assigned, the booking will be automatically cancelled by the system.
- Cancellation by Service Partner: A booking may also be cancelled by an assigned service partner if unforeseen circumstances prevent them from fulfilling the service.
Refund Details
We understand that circumstances change. Our updated refund policy aims to be fair and transparent:

Confirmation Fee Refunds:
- If an immediate booking is automatically cancelled by the system (due to no partner assignment within 3 hours), the full confirmation fee will be refunded.
- If a booking (of any type) is cancelled by an assigned service partner, the full confirmation fee will be refunded.
- If you, as the customer, cancel your immediate booking (before partner assignment) or your scheduled booking (at least 1 hour before), the full confirmation fee will be refunded.
- In all eligible refund cases for the confirmation fee, the process will be initiated promptly. Please note that it may take 3-7 business days for the refund to be credited back to your original payment method, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Service Charge: For any cancelled booking (regardless of who initiates it), the remaining service charge will not be required to be paid. You are only charged for services that are completed.
Payment Structure
- For all services, you will receive an estimated cost on the app prior to confirming the booking. This estimate provides transparency regarding potential charges.
- The full payment for the service shall be done only after the service is completed to your satisfaction. Only the confirmation fee will be charged in advance to secure the booking.
